The Alliance for Education in Waukesha is dedicated to (1) Seeking a safe and productive learning environment for all Waukesha students; (2) Fostering a collaborative and constructive work environment for all Waukesha teachers and staff; and (3) Creating a space for civil discourse regarding education in Waukesha.
To work towards these goals, we engage in advocacy surrounding:
- Ensuring all students have access to breakfast and lunch, and working towards universal free meals.
- Striving for equity and acceptance in our District by reversing the decision to remove “Safe Space” and other “controversial” signage from classrooms and schools.
- Advocating for improving ventilation and indoor air quality in our schools.
